Mtn Remedies: Turn Any Backpack into a Super Portable Cooler
Everyone likes a badass cooler for their mountain biking, rock climbing and fly fishing trips, and the good ones can be worth the high price tag - if you can actually afford it. Brands like Yeti, RTIC, and many more have been growing their outdoor adventure cooler following by leaps and bounds, but sometimes these coolers just aren't practical. Sure, you can keep things cold at the campsite or in the truck, but those coolers are bulky, heavy, and not easy to transport. What if you're hiking in to a bonfire party in the woods? Or you need some cold brews at the climbing crag? Or you lost a bet and you're stuck carrying cold beverages for all of your friends in to Redbull Rampage?
Lucky for you, we have an easy, affordable, and portable cold hydration station option - compatible with almost any backpack.
Step 1: Head to your local grocery store and pick up a thermal bag that will fit inside your backpack of choice
Step 2: Open up the main compartment of your backpack (top loading packs work best) and place the thermal bag securely inside
Step 3: Add beverages of your choice and some ice and seal that puppy up!
Tip: If you want to be extra sure that your bag doesn't leak, place the thermal bag inside a heavy duty trash bag for an extra layer of protection.
Voila, you have your very own backpack pack cooler, that doesn't break the bank. And you can still use it like a regular backpack! Enjoy this Mtn Remedy responsibly, and feel free to play rock-paper-scissors so that your buddy has to carry it. Sorry, we don't have a remedy to make it any lighter!
