Should Electric Bikes be permited on Sinlge Track Trails?

With technology rapidly growing, electric bikes are becoming more capable.  The question then becomes, do we allow them to share single track with other users?  Does this quantify as motorized traffic?  These questions are all on the table and being debated within our trail systems.  Take a moment and fill out the short survey here and let us know what you think.

    The reason motorcycles were not allowed on single track is also because they tear up the trails and are loud. Electric bikes dont have enough power to rip up trails and they barely make much beyond a hum. It is just pedal assist..

    I think motorized is motorized, whether gas of electric. If motorcycles aren’t allowed on single track then why would electric bikes. Plus if you’re riding an electric bike you probably can’t handle most rugged MTB single track anyway. Electric bikes should stay in paved bike lanes or paved trails. My opinion….
